Abstract

• Manufacturing industry business is divided into 4 (four) classifications based on the number of workers, namely: micro industries with a workforce of 1-4 people, small industries with a workforce of 5-19 people, medium industries with a workforce of 20-99 people and large industries with a workforce of more than 99 people.
• Production of the South Kalimantan Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (q-to-q) in the first quarter of 2019 experienced a negative growth of -18.64 percent compared to production in the fourth quarter of 2018.
• Production of the Big and Medium Manufacturing Industry (y-on-y) of South Kalimantan Province in the first quarter of 2019 experienced a negative growth of -16.66 percent compared to production in the first quarter of 2018.
• Production of the South Kalimantan Micro and Small Manufacturing Industry (q-to-q) in the first quarter of 2019 experienced a positive growth of 3.73 percent compared to production in the fourth quarter of 2018.
• Production of the South Kalimantan Micro and Small Manufacturing Industry (y-on-y) in the first quarter of 2019 experienced a positive growth of 15.59 percent compared to industrial production in the first quarter of 2018.

Production of the Large and Medium (q-to-q) Manufacturing Industry of South Kalimantan Province in the third quarter of 2018 experienced a positive growth of 5.10 percent.
