Abstract

- In June 2019, there was an inflation of 0.29 percent in Banjarmasin City. The inflation rate for the 2019 calendar (June 2019 against December 2018) was 3.20 percent and the inflation rate "year on year" was 4.17 percent. Commodities experiencing price increases with the highest share of inflation in Banjarmasin City include rice, gold jewelery, grilled fish, puffed / bloated fish, clove cigarettes.

- In Tanjung City, in June 2019 deflation was 0.10 percent. The inflation rate for the calendar year 2019 (June 2019 against December 2018) inflation was 1.52 percent and the inflation rate "year on year" was 1.71 percent. Commodities that have decreased in price with the highest share of deflation in Tanjung City include: chicken, oranges, spinach, garlic, watermelon.

- Of 82 cities that calculate the consumer price index, recorded 76 cities experienced inflation, 6 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation in the city of Manado was 3.60 percent, and the lowest was in the city of Singaraja by 0.02 percent. The city that experienced the highest deflation in the city of Tanjung Pandan was 0.41 percent and the lowest deflation of the city of Jayapura was 0.08 percent.
