Abstract

South Kalimantan export value in August 2013 reached U.S. $ 530.20 million , down 19.42 percent compared to exports in July 2013, which reached U.S. $ 657.95 million, down 13.02 percent compared to the month of August 2012 the export value of U.S. $ 609 , 53 million .

The main commodity export biggest contributor South Kalimantan in August 2013 based on code Harmonized System ( HS ) 2 digits are mineral fuels ( HS 27 ) with a value of U.S. $ 431.69 million , followed by fats and oils of animal / vegetable ( HS 15 ) with value of U.S. $ 61.55 million and a group of ores , slag , ash and metals ( HS 26 ) with a value of U.S. $ 18.73 million .

The main countries of export destination South Kalimantan in August 2013 was to China with U.S. $ 159.10 million , India with a value of U.S. $ 103.75 million and Japan with U.S. $ 66.48 million .

The value of imports of South Kalimantan in August 2013 amounted to U.S. $ 220.64 million , down 42.28 percent compared to the value of imports in July 2013 , which reached U.S. $ 382.25 million , while the value of imports compared to the month of August 2012 decreased by 11 , 25 percent of the time it was valued at U.S. $ 248.62 million .

The main commodities imported largest South Kalimantan in August 2013 based on the code of the Harmonized System ( HS ) 2 digit comprised of mineral fuels ( HS 27 ) with a value of U.S. $ 182.60 million , a group of ships ( HS 89 ) with a value of U.S. $ 27.38 million and groups of machines / mechanical appliances ( HS 84 ) with a value of U.S. $ 7.50 million .

The main suppliers of imported products country South Kalimantan Malaysia in August 2013 were valued at U.S. $ 135.71 million , Singapore with U.S. $ 54.59 million and China with a value of U.S. $ 28.00 million .
